In Nigeria, freedom of speech is allowed but freedom after speech is not assured
Ifemosu Micheal Adewale, a student of Federal University Of Agriculture Abeokuta has been expelled from the over an open letter he posted on his facebook page addressing some menace in the school.
In the letter Micheal wrote about how the Vice Chancellor of the University wrote to SARS to come and be arresting suspected Yahoo Boys in the school and that has led to arrest of many innocent students.
He also wrote about how transportation has been a pain in the neck for students since past two years and nothing has been done about it.

After the school Senate and disciplinary committee met on the matter, they resolved that Ifemosu wrongly defamed the character of the Vice Chanceller and brought disrepute to the school.
