Warning: Lekki Female Residents Should Not Use Water To Wash Their Vagina (See Why)


According to a Twitter user identified as @Rene_noire, the water at Lekki area in Lagos is contaminated. @Rene_noire warned residents of Lekki, Lagos against using the water to wash sensitive body parts.

The Twitter user raised the alarm after she noticed everyone around her had ‘thrush’ after using the water to wash sensitive body part especially their private areas. @Rene_noire, suspects the water in the community to be the cause of the thrush.

According to @Rene_noire, everyone around her seem to get the fungal infection after using the water.

She wrote:-

If you live in LEKKI be careful using the water your vigina. Everyone around me got thrush and I’m sure I’ll get it next


Thrush is a yeast infection of the mouth and throat, characterized by patches of white. Thrush is usually a minor and easily addressed problem, but it can be more serious for those with immune system disorders, such as AIDS.

Treatment is with antifungal medications.
